Beautiful property that looks just like the pictures. It’s on the quiet end of the island, so a golf cart is a must in order to access downtown and restaurants. The host was very helpful in assisting with the rental of a cart for us. The views from the private pool and beach were stunning. It’s a perfect, quiet location. Any minor issue we had, we had resolved with the help of the host quickly.

Villa Castillo was exactly what we expected! If you are looking for a super modern, luxury American style home you might look elsewhere but if you want a unique property with plenty of en suite bedrooms (with cold A/C), beautiful marble and heavy wood decor, a fabulous large pool, tropical backyard and in a great location, then you will love this property! Yes, the home does show some signs of age but we saw character and authenticity. The property, pool and yard are maintained on a daily basis by a lovely couple, Pedro & Mercedes, who live in an unseen apartment in the building. We only saw them in the morning unless we needed something. We had 2 chefs who came in 2x day for brunch and dinner. The service (arranged by our hosts) was fantastic. The food was delicious, the chefs were super friendly and did a beautiful job with the prep, serving and clean-up. Expensive but worth every penny for our group of 9 adults! There is a convenience store right around the block (4 minute walk) that was perfect for ice, snacks, drinks, etc… Hiring an Uber was easy and cheap for trips to the beach or mall. Our hosts were excellent. Rodolfo, Hector and Felipe all worked with us on different occasions and I truly can’t say enough about their professionalism and communication skills. We were met at the house by Felipe and he made sure our check-in went smoothly and then he came by as we were leaving providing stellar customer service! We will definitely use Solmar for our travel needs. A

This house and location was perfect for our needs! Right on the beach where you could actually get into the water. Each bedroom had their own bathroom. The property was spotless! Any questions we had while there were answered right away. We will definitely rent here again when coming with a group!

We came for my son’s birthday and a belated celebration of my parents anniversary. Everyone had a great time. I would highly recommend getting the private chef. Luis was incredible and we enjoyed every meal. I would note that the water pressure is a little low and there is a lot of seaweed in the water and on the beach, but I don’t think that can be helped. We all had a great time and would go back.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 1000/10 — An AMAZING stay! I genuinely enjoyed EVERYTHING about this Airbnb! It was perfect for our group trip to Cancun. There was plenty of space for everyone, enough bathrooms to accommodate the entire group comfortably, and the backyard and front porch were absolutely beautiful! The property was everything we could have asked for and more. The hosts were also incredibly helpful throughout our stay, from answering questions about the Airbnb to assisting with transportation and providing great local recommendations. This place was beautiful and so was the view! Our contact Bea provided top notch service and was on point with all the details. I recommend getting a chef to make your stay even better. Although we had a few hiccups, the great service we received overall outshined it. I definitely recommend visiting this property if you don't mind a different or more private Cancun experience. Very quiet area, clean place to stay with beautiful views. Rodolfo was the best help. From the time we got off the airplane to the time we got back to airport, Rodolfo made it so easy with all or transportation and needs. Very quick to respond to our questions and concerns. The property was beautiful. Our own little heaven on earth. We utilized the pool literally everyday! There were pool floats available for our use. The beach was beautiful. It was very grassy in the water but nothing that would stop me from wanting to stay there. We were able to arrange our charter fishing trip to bring us directly to the pier of our villa at the end of the trip and we also had our under water museum your pick us up and drop us off at our pier which was sooooo convenient! Rodolfo was our concierge and had literally answered any and all of my ridiculous questions between March when we booked and October when we arrived. I can’t say enough good things about him and his customer service. He arranged our charter fishing trip. Arranged for groceries to be delivered to our villa before arrival and arranged the private chef dinner for our last night. We had 3 couples total so one room was left unattended. That room did not have a tv in it. The only negative I have is that the master bedroom did not have a smart tv so it was only Spanish cable  and the other two bedrooms had smart tvs but weren’t able to access any streaming services and the issue was never figured out. Ezekiel was our “butler” he was great and took care of anything we needed. His wife did our laundry. The whole staff was great I would def recommend staying here! If yall find me on socials message me with questions I’d be happy to answer!

Wow! Stunning place, starting from the front of the house - which I think they should show pictures of. It’s huge. You can see the ocean as soon as you open the door. Everything was pristine, from indoor to outdoor.  My group of 11 had more than enough space. I put the host Bea to the test and she aced everything. I used the chef almost everyday. Same for bartender, yacht, drivers, masseuse, cleaners (laundry), and more and she was PERFECT. I mean absolute perfection. I had to cancel things at times, done. I had to schedule things last minute. done. Worked with me financially and made sure every guest was accounted for. She could not do any better. Felipe without his way as well to make sure we had a projector downstairs so we can watch football. The bartender? 10/10. Best I ever had and I had many. The chef? 12/10. every meal was EXCELLENT. The staff? 10/10!! Bea? 100/10. I cannot say more! oh, if you want to go to the beach, you will have to drive somewhere. overall perfect!!

Our stay was absolutely amazing. Rodo and they on-site staff were absolutely top-notch. Our concierge provided many local recommendations, including a local, private chef, restaurants, and arranged ground transport when we needed it. Everyone was incredibly responsive and it was so lovely to have cleaning and a groundskeeper on site to keep everything nice. Honestly, it felt like everything was taken care of even before we arrived and suggestions were made that made our trip that much more special.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay. Host was extremely responsive, replied almost immediately to everything we reached out for. Cleaning was arranged weekly, everything possibly required was made available; from plates and cutlery to shampoo and body wash in all the bathrooms. The surrounding is also really lovely, with a mall just a 10 minutes walk away. We felt right at home when we moved in and it was the perfect space for a large group trip. The 4th bedroom is also a full bedroom and is separated from the other bedrooms, serves more like a guest room incase any of the guests need more privacy. Would absolutely recommend and will definitely use the same hosts whoever we are  in Cancun!

Let me start by saying the pictures don’t do this place justice. It’s easily the most beautiful villa I’ve ever stayed at. Absolutely breathtaking from the moment you walk in, to the various rooms/areas within the villa. The hosts were PHENOMENAL communicators. As soon as we booked they put us in a group chat with a team of people to help with any questions that came up. They responded super timely to every question we had. Joy was so pleasant and helpful, she was there upon check in to give us a tour and answer our questions, and again when we checked out. The villa is fully stocked with everything needed and spotless. The pool was great and we had a private dock where we were able to order jet skis to the house! So fun. The location/neighborhood looks a little up and coming as there is some construction around, but it’s within the hotel zone and less than a 15 mins drive to most everything we wanted to see. 10/10 recommend staying here.

I was a group of 11 and this villa was absolutely perfect for our group. The views are absolutely stunning and worth every dime. The girls fit comfortably in the house and we had enough room and space to spread out around the house and although we had to share a few bathrooms it  was still enough space for 11 women to get dressed without being each others way. What I loved the most about booking here was the responsiveness from the team, from the moment we booked until check-out. The team created a group chat that allowed us to communicate effectively what our needs and questions were before arriving. We were greeted upon arrival and given a tour of our house which was helpful. What is also helpful to know is that 2 of the bedrooms and 1 bathroom are on the bottom level by the garage so they are further away from the rest of the rooms and while that wasn't a deal breaker, knowing that upfront could've helped manage some expectations before arriving. Highly recommend them!

We had such a lovely stay! First the concierge team was helpful and responsive both leading up to and during our stay. The quarters were very clean and well maintained - exactly as pictured and described. It was lovely being on a quieter part of the island - just make sure that you get a golf cart. Pure Paradise & Exceptional Service!We absolutely loved staying at this villa! The home was the perfect size, with an oversized living and dining room that made gathering, our group of 6, so easy. Every bedroom was enormous and came with its own private bathroom. The location is unbeatable!  It's in the only area on the island with actual beachfront, and the resort-like pool was incredible. The AC worked flawlessly throughout, and having individual units in each bedroom was a huge plus.A special thanks to Ezekiel, our concierge, who was phenomenal. Having him stock our groceries and drinks before we arrived allowed us to jump straight into vacation mode, and he even handled our laundry. This home is honestly great but my only big complaint is that if you’re booking transportation with them make sure you account for their possible lateness. We booked transportation back to the airport with them and they were 30 minutes late and then said it wasn’t exactly their fault. Which is unacceptable when you are trying to catch an international flight. Other than that maintenance would come fast, lovely safe area, clean easy to use space and friendly staff
