Beautiful property that looks just like the pictures. It’s on the quiet end of the island, so a golf cart is a must in order to access downtown and restaurants. The host was very helpful in assisting with the rental of a cart for us. The views from the private pool and beach were stunning. It’s a perfect, quiet location. Any minor issue we had, we had resolved with the help of the host quickly.

Villa Castillo was exactly what we expected! If you are looking for a super modern, luxury American style home you might look elsewhere but if you want a unique property with plenty of en suite bedrooms (with cold A/C), beautiful marble and heavy wood decor, a fabulous large pool, tropical backyard and in a great location, then you will love this property! Yes, the home does show some signs of age but we saw character and authenticity. The property, pool and yard are maintained on a daily basis by a lovely couple, Pedro & Mercedes, who live in an unseen apartment in the building. We only saw them in the morning unless we needed something. We had 2 chefs who came in 2x day for brunch and dinner. The service (arranged by our hosts) was fantastic. The food was delicious, the chefs were super friendly and did a beautiful job with the prep, serving and clean-up. Expensive but worth every penny for our group of 9 adults! There is a convenience store right around the block (4 minute walk) that was perfect for ice, snacks, drinks, etc… Hiring an Uber was easy and cheap for trips to the beach or mall. Our hosts were excellent. Rodolfo, Hector and Felipe all worked with us on different occasions and I truly can’t say enough about their professionalism and communication skills. We were met at the house by Felipe and he made sure our check-in went smoothly and then he came by as we were leaving providing stellar customer service! We will definitely use Solmar for our travel needs. A

This house and location was perfect for our needs! Right on the beach where you could actually get into the water. Each bedroom had their own bathroom. The property was spotless! Any questions we had while there were answered right away. We will definitely rent here again when coming with a group!

Amanda M.

We came for my son’s birthday and a belated celebration of my parents anniversary. Everyone had a great time. I would highly recommend getting the private chef. Luis was incredible and we enjoyed every meal. I would note that the water pressure is a little low and there is a lot of seaweed in the water and on the beach, but I don’t think that can be helped. We all had a great time and would go back.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 1000/10 — An AMAZING stay! I genuinely enjoyed EVERYTHING about this Airbnb! It was perfect for our group trip to Cancun. There was plenty of space for everyone, enough bathrooms to accommodate the entire group comfortably, and the backyard and front porch were absolutely beautiful! The property was everything we could have asked for and more. The hosts were also incredibly helpful throughout our stay, from answering questions about the Airbnb to assisting with transportation and providing great local recommendations. Their hospitality made the entire experience that much better! I would absolutely love to stay here again the next time I visit Cancun with a group. If you’re looking for a beautiful, spacious, and group-friendly place to stay, I highly recommend this property. Thank you for helping make our trip so enjoyable! 💕🌴

Kayla

We had such a great experience. The unit was awesome, quiet and very comfortable! Rodolfo and team was always responsive, easy to communicate with, and incredibly accommodating to our needs. They made the entire process smooth and stress-free. We truly appreciated their care and attention and wouldn’t hesitate to rent with them again!

Erica Darby

Sonia

This place was beautiful and so was the view! Our contact Bea provided top notch service and was on point with all the details. I recommend getting a chef to make your stay even better. Although we had a few hiccups, the great service we received overall outshined it. I definitely recommend visiting this property if you don't mind a different or more private Cancun experience. Oh and I can't forget the pool...AMAZING!!

Antoine

Werner

Very quiet area, clean place to stay with beautiful views. Rodolfo was the best help. From the time we got off the airplane to the time we got back to airport, Rodolfo made it so easy with all or transportation and needs. Very quick to respond to our questions and concerns. I would stay anywhere Rodolfo was in charge of.

Keri

The property was beautiful. Our own little heaven on earth. We utilized the pool literally everyday! There were pool floats available for our use. The beach was beautiful. It was very grassy in the water but nothing that would stop me from wanting to stay there. We were able to arrange our charter fishing trip to bring us directly to the pier of our villa at the end of the trip and we also had our under water museum your pick us up and drop us off at our pier which was sooooo convenient! Rodolfo was our concierge and had literally answered any and all of my ridiculous questions between March when we booked and October when we arrived. I can’t say enough good things about him and his customer service. He arranged our charter fishing trip. Arranged for groceries to be delivered to our villa before arrival and arranged the private chef dinner for our last night. We had 3 couples total so one room was left unattended. That room did not have a tv in it. The only negative I have is that the master bedroom did not have a smart tv so it was only Spanish cable and the other two bedrooms had smart tvs but weren’t able to access any streaming services and the issue was never figured out. Ezekiel was our “butler” he was great and took care of anything we needed. His wife did our laundry. The whole staff was great I would def recommend staying here! If yall find me on socials message me with questions I’d be happy to answer!

Deanna Scott

AMAZING BEAUTIFUL MANSION! We were a big group and had the best time! Efren was an amazing host and help us plan everything to have a great stay! The staff (waiters, chef, housekeeper ...) were wonderful! I would recommend 100% and we will be back for sure! The house is gorgeous!

Alphalete

Had an amazing time with my girls to celebrate my 30th. Special shout out to Lily and Carmen. They made our stay a10/10 Felipe also was very helpful. The villa felt like home.

Timileyin

Wow! Stunning place, starting from the front of the house - which I think they should show pictures of. It’s huge. You can see the ocean as soon as you open the door. Everything was pristine, from indoor to outdoor. My group of 11 had more than enough space. I put the host Bea to the test and she aced everything. I used the chef almost everyday. Same for bartender, yacht, drivers, masseuse, cleaners (laundry), and more and she was PERFECT. I mean absolute perfection. I had to cancel things at times, done. I had to schedule things last minute. done. Worked with me financially and made sure every guest was accounted for. She could not do any better. Felipe without his way as well to make sure we had a projector downstairs so we can watch football. The bartender? 10/10. Best I ever had and I had many. The chef? 12/10. every meal was EXCELLENT. The staff? 10/10!! Bea? 100/10. I cannot say more! oh, if you want to go to the beach, you will have to drive somewhere. overall perfect!!

Elon

This apartment is gorgeous and in an excellent location! The staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional. They made me feel right at home. Highly recommend!

Johan

Beautiful penthouse in a beautiful building, close to everything, 24/7 security, loved my stay and the service was great. 5 stars, I will definitely rent this property again!

Our stay was absolutely amazing. Rodo and they on-site staff were absolutely top-notch. Our concierge provided many local recommendations, including a local, private chef, restaurants, and arranged ground transport when we needed it. Everyone was incredibly responsive and it was so lovely to have cleaning and a groundskeeper on site to keep everything nice. Honestly, it felt like everything was taken care of even before we arrived and suggestions were made that made our trip that much more special.

Kelsey

Rented 5 days for my birthday, amazing home, all host responded very fast and friendly. They helped me book/set up my different excursions and or experiences including transportation. I will definitely be back

Tamari

Absolutely enjoyed our stay. Host was extremely responsive, replied almost immediately to everything we reached out for. Cleaning was arranged weekly, everything possibly required was made available; from plates and cutlery to shampoo and body wash in all the bathrooms. The surrounding is also really lovely, with a mall just a 10 minutes walk away. We felt right at home when we moved in and it was the perfect space for a large group trip. The 4th bedroom is also a full bedroom and is separated from the other bedrooms, serves more like a guest room incase any of the guests need more privacy. Would absolutely recommend and will definitely use the same hosts whoever we are in Cancun!

Ayeeshatul Khumaira

We had a wonderful stay in Isla Mujeres! The place was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. Everything was as described, and the host was friendly and responsive. We really enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again!

Susana

Our Cancun trip was an amazing experience! The atmosphere was beautiful, the activities were fun, and we truly enjoyed every moment together. We made so many wonderful memories and shared countless laughs throughout the trip. Hector, Carmen, and the entire Airbnb team were incredible. Everything was thoughtfully planned, including a personal driver, private chef, mariachi band, and a host who welcomed us upon arrival. Hector even stopped by personally, which made our experience feel even more special. Carmen, the housekeeper, was especially wonderful. She was warm, welcoming, attentive, and truly made the Airbnb feel like home. We will definitely miss her! If you’re traveling with a large group and want someone to help plan an unforgettable vacation, I highly recommend this Airbnb. The team will create the perfect itinerary for your group and ensure that everyone is well taken care of. We have absolutely no complaints and would definitely stay here again!

Stacey

We had a great stay! The location was perfect, and the Airbnb was a great value for the money, especially for our group of 9. We really enjoyed ourselves and had a wonderful time in Cancun. We did experience a few minor hiccups during our stay, but each one was handled quickly, professionally, and with great communication. That definitely made a difference in our overall experience. I’ve actually had several people reach out after seeing my social media posts and have already tried to follow my lead and book this property themselves! Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this Airbnb for groups looking for a convenient, comfortable, and affordable stay in Cancun. We also booked the yacht from them as well!

Brianna

Everything was perfect, highly recommend staying here, definitely coming back again

Ibrahim

Let me start by saying the pictures don’t do this place justice. It’s easily the most beautiful villa I’ve ever stayed at. Absolutely breathtaking from the moment you walk in, to the various rooms/areas within the villa. The hosts were PHENOMENAL communicators. As soon as we booked they put us in a group chat with a team of people to help with any questions that came up. They responded super timely to every question we had. Joy was so pleasant and helpful, she was there upon check in to give us a tour and answer our questions, and again when we checked out. The villa is fully stocked with everything needed and spotless. The pool was great and we had a private dock where we were able to order jet skis to the house! So fun. The location/neighborhood looks a little up and coming as there is some construction around, but it’s within the hotel zone and less than a 15 mins drive to most everything we wanted to see. 10/10 recommend staying here.

Duaa

This place was the best! The view is insane and you’re right on the water. We had their private chef two nights and the massages another night. The staff was welcoming and was a text away from anything we needed. Would highly recommend

Trevor

Amazing stay great host! Had a great time with my family and friends for my husbands 50. 10/10

Kristen

This place was very clean and beautiful. The house help was also great took care of all the things needed to make it a comfortable stay for us. Huge shout out to the host Bea and Felipe. They made sure that starting from our arrival at the Cancun airport to our departure, everything was smooth, well coordinated and very easy. Definitely recommend this place and Solmar Rental. They have 80 more properties through out Mexico.

Mayank

We had an absolutely amazing stay! The Airbnb was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was welcoming, responsive, and provided excellent service throughout our stay. Everything was smooth and stress-free, and we truly felt at home. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great experience! Thanks to Joy !!!

I was a group of 11 and this villa was absolutely perfect for our group. The views are absolutely stunning and worth every dime. The girls fit comfortably in the house and we had enough room and space to spread out around the house and although we had to share a few bathrooms it was still enough space for 11 women to get dressed without being each others way. What I loved the most about booking here was the responsiveness from the team, from the moment we booked until check-out. The team created a group chat that allowed us to communicate effectively what our needs and questions were before arriving. We were greeted upon arrival and given a tour of our house which was helpful. What is also helpful to know is that 2 of the bedrooms and 1 bathroom are on the bottom level by the garage so they are further away from the rest of the rooms and while that wasn't a deal breaker, knowing that upfront could've helped manage some expectations before arriving. Highly recommend them!

Sherrell Latrise

Sherrell, those views paired with a team that was in your corner from booking to checkout is exactly the combination that makes a large group trip feel effortless. Fitting 11 women comfortably, with room to spread out and actually get ready in peace, is no small thing. The group chat detail is a nice touch worth knowing about ahead of time. A villa that works this well for a crew this size is genuinely hard to find.

Luis

This place is beautiful! The location is incredibly peaceful, our host was extremely responsive and helpful every step of the way. We booked a private chef, had groceries delivered, and airport transportation with no issues. 10/10 experience with this company and stay!

Nicole

The property is beautiful and private. Plenty of room for a large party. The pool was always kept very clean during our stay and the housekeepers were always attentive to any needs. Would rent here again if returning to Cancun.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ¡Excelente experiencia!

Maricarmen

We had such a lovely stay! First the concierge team was helpful and responsive both leading up to and during our stay. The quarters were very clean and well maintained - exactly as pictured and described. It was lovely being on a quieter part of the island - just make sure that you get a golf cart. The security was very tight. I would highly recommend staying here and would absolutely stay again.

Jackie

I seriously can't say enough about how good of an experience we had. The staff was so responsive via Whats app to all of our questions and requests. I would also definitely recommend the private chef / bartender / yacht services!

Tyler

I would love to live here! Amazing space and tranquility. A bit of a ride to visit places but worth it. Great kitchen, well equipped. The kajak and supps where great.

Mieke

Great House! We enojy the spaces and amenities but the service of the chef was the best!

Pure Paradise & Exceptional Service! We absolutely loved staying at this villa! The home was the perfect size, with an oversized living and dining room that made gathering, our group of 6, so easy. Every bedroom was enormous and came with its own private bathroom. The location is unbeatable! It's in the only area on the island with actual beachfront, and the resort-like pool was incredible. The AC worked flawlessly throughout, and having individual units in each bedroom was a huge plus.A special thanks to Ezekiel, our concierge, who was phenomenal. Having him stock our groceries and drinks before we arrived allowed us to jump straight into vacation mode, and he even handled our laundry. His responsiveness and effort truly elevated our entire stay. We can't wait to visit again!
